Honda has unveiled a new street fighter at 2017 EICMA and this time it brings a new naked sport to the family “CB300R”. The design of CB300R is inspired from the larger variant CB1000R and it looks gorgeous. The new 2018 CB300R comes with sharp lines, rounded headlamp and muscular tank, LED lighting, LCD instrument display and Honda has reduced the weight of this bike to 143kg which is quite satisfying. It is expected that this bike will debut in Indian market around mid 2018 or in 2019.
Honda CB300R is powered with 286cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke DOHC; four valves per cylinder engine which will produce maximum power of 31bhp at 8500rpm and maximum torque of 27.5Nm at 7,500rpm. The bore and stroke is 76mm x 63mm. It has got 6 speed gear transmission system and the fuel tank capacity of CB300R is 10.0L. The fuel efficiency of this bike is expected to be around 35.75 kmpl.
The front suspension of CB300R is 41mm telescopic fork, 130mm stroke and rear is Monoshock damper, Pro-Link swingarm, 107mm travel. The front brake is 296mm hubless floating disc,radial-mount Nissin 4-piston caliper and rear is 220mm disc, single piston caliper. It comes with ABS as standard. The overall length of the bike is 2012mm and overall width is 802mm and overall height is 1052mm. The seat height of Honda CB300R is 799mm. The expected price of this bike is around 2lakhs.
