The 6th edition of India’s Biggest Drag Racing Event – The Valley Run is back for the year 2018 and it will be held at the Aamby Valley Airstrip in Maharashtra from 13 April to 15 April. It certainly a visual treat for any race lovers and auto enthusiast to witness this event live. Over the years, The Valley Run has made quite a name for itself by the quality and safety of the participants. The name itself attract the fastest cars and bikes across the country to the spot of drag racing.
In the 3 day event, the car or bike that covers the quarter mile distance in shortest time is announced as the winner. It is expected to follow the same categories from the 2017 Valley Run. The participants in the last year’s Valley Run contested in these categories –
2-wheeler-2-stroke- Domestic – Upto 165cc (M1) and 166cc to 375cc (M2),
2-wheeler-4-stroke- Domestic – Upto 165cc (M3), 166cc to 225cc (M4), 226cc to 360cc (M5), 361cc to 550cc (M6), Indian Open (O1) and Indian Wheelie (W1)
2-wheeler-4-stroke-International – 551cc to 850cc (inline 3-cyl/4-cyl) (M7), 649cc to 850cc (single-cyl/twin-cyl) (M8), 851cc to 1050cc (M9), 1051cc and above (M10), Muscle (P), Foreign Open (O2) and Foreign Wheelie (W2)
4-wheeler-Pro Stock Petrol-Indian – Upto 1150cc (B1), 1151cc to 1450cc (B2), 1451cc to 1650cc (B3), 1651cc to 2050cc (B4), 2051cc to 2550cc (B5), 2551cc to 3060cc (B6) and 3061cc and above (B7)

Valley Run is not only the moment for race but also to see the many accessory manufacturers with their products. And it is also a chance to see many super cars and bikes and their customised variants. The participants compulsorily need to have a valid FMSCI competition licence and a car or bike with clear documentation. Registration can be done through the official website of Elite Octane.
