Time has passed by so quickly, it has been few years the Ninja 300 being shining through the Indian streets and guess now its time to get an update on the lower displacement bikes of Kawasaki. There are few gossips going around that Kawasaki is going to replace the new Ninja 400 with the older version. But the news is not sure though!. It seems there is a chance for Kawasaki to replace the older version. The new model will debut in the coming EICMA 2017. It is expected that this model will launch India next year. The latest model was unveiled today at Tokyo Motor Show in Japan.
The newer model is powered with 399cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin 8v DOHC engine which will produce maximum power of 45hp @ 10,000rpm and maximum torque of 28lbft @ 8,000rpm. It has got slipper clutch and 6 speed gearbox. Kawasaki has updated the Nissin ABS system on the new Ninja 400. The weight of this bike is 6kgs lower than Ninja 300 ie 168kg. The front Disc plates are also bigger on new ninja 400 ie 310mm. The overall length of this bike is 1,990 mm and overall width is 710 mm. The overall height of Ninja 400 is 1,120 mm and the seat height is 785 mm. The fuel tank capacity of Ninja 400 is 14litres. As I’ve told before there a several gossips going around regarding the launch of Ninja 400 in India but not sure yet. Lets wait and hope for it.
